ABOUT

Keith Reams is a Los Angeles based writer. His work has been published in SURFING, LADYGUNN and POWDER magazines. He also published a collection of poems, FALLING FIRE. As a filmmaker, he has written and directed several short films and studied under storytelling guru Joan Scheckel, whose credits include Transparent and Little Miss Sunshine. He also served as stunt coordinator on the short film THE COURIER.

Keith earned a B.A. in History from Yale University where he earned seven varsity letters on the football and baseball teams, won an Ivy League Championship and the Most Valuable Offensive Back award for football in 2001. He also earned a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. When not writing, Keith is a CrossFit coach, personal trainer and yoga instructor.

 

Keith grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area playing ball in the streets and building tree houses in the woods. After college, he lived in Prague for two years where he taught English and wrote for a software company. Coming from a family of travelers, he has visited 30 countries thus far and is always looking for a reason to hit the road.
